Do Nexus One batteries work in the Desire?

I live in India and unfortunately mobilefun.co.uk as well as htcpedia do not ship to India

Came across a deal on Ebay UK for an OEM Nexus One battery 1400mAH. Does it work on the Desire?

Btw, last week i have already ordered a non-oem battery+cradle charger off ebay... are non-oem batteries reliable?

As far as I can tell, the batteries are interchangeable:

HTC Desire BA S410 Replacement Battery

The non-OEM batteries are usually reliable, however they may not come as close to their advertised capacity as HTC (they may have 70-80% of advertised capacity while HTC is ~90%)

The N1 uses the same batteries as the Desire.
