Do Not be Concerned With the Size

Just picked mine up. The size is great. It feels perfect in the hand and thickness is a non-issue. In comparison, the Droid Razr is extremely wide and seems tough to use for normal use. My only concern with the Rezound is a non-issue and in fact the width of it makes it feel great to hold. Looking forward to get into this thing over the next few hours.

I will still check out the Nexus, but this seems like a great device.
 
Girth is important;)

I do like the feel of HTC phones in the hand. Unlike other models, the backing doesn't get all scratched up when you go naked...
 
I'm a little concerned with the size/weight of the rezound. If specs are correct, it's a tad bit bigger and heavier than the DX2 I now own and use, and that feels a little heavy in hand honestly. I just had the chance to hold a RAZR, and that thing IS very thin and light. It was a non working model so maybe it was stripped down. Hoping to get the chance to hold and use working models of the rezound and RAZR later today.

I owned the DX2 for a little while (I can say that for almost every phone unfortunately). I would say this has a better feel. It seems slightly narrower than most phones which really makes it fit nice in the hand for one-handed use. Then you still get the advantage of a nice landscape for web browser. It is definitely not the thinnest phone by far, but it just seems to make up for it in feel. As I said above, I find the new Razr too wide and I have a co-worker is has the Skyrocket from AT&T and that seems wide too. At the end of the day, it is all personal preference, but definitely hold one in your hand before deciding.
 
I got mine this morning and coming from a d1 I have to say this thing feels great in hand. If lightness is your thing then the razr is for you although this doesn't feel heavy to me. The edges are beveled so it doesn't feel as thick as you might think. I believe most people don't hold their phones flat against their fonts fingers, so you don't get the thick feeling when holding it. The razr feels too wide for comfortable one handed use and I'm six nine.
 
I went and checked it out today. The size seems just right. I liked the way it felt in my hand over the RAZR. So, I don't believe the thickness is an issue at all. I too like a little girth in my hand (no pun there!!!). It was a little heavy though.

FWIW, I am female and have small hands. I do not think it is heavy or hard for me to hold THE REZOUND <you all keep your comments to yourself :p)in my hands at all. I came from the Incredible, and while it's definitely bigger, to me it is a negligible difference.
 
Went to the local VZ shop today - it's a franchise, no corp VZ in my town - I asked to see a Rezound, they said they hadn't heard of it. Lol. I said well it came out today almost everywhere else, maybe check your computer. Sure enough, I wasn't crazy. But they don't have them in stock, might be getting some in a week or two though. But they DO have the HTC Incredible 2, which is practically the same phone. Gotta love these small town shops sometimes. Yeah.... gimme that outdated Inc 2, same thing I'm sure. Anyway, I would like to hold and use it in person before ordering. They did have a working RAZR that I got to use a bit - albeit they wouldn't let me take the protective plastic off the display, so it was hard to tell how good/bad the display was. It is an extremely light, thin design thats for sure. Guess I'll have to be patient to compare side by side with a Rezound.
 
Picked mine up today and I have to say I was really surprised. After all that talk about how much bigger the Vigor was supposed to be when I saw it in person i was like "Is this it?" It looks tiny to me..lol. Seriously! I mean it's no where near as thin as the Razr but I don't think any phone that's out now is.(or should be in my opinion) When I first held it for a split second I had to ask myself if it was too small for me to purchase as I thought the screen would be bigger as a side effect of how large people were saying the phone would be. Of course I did get it and I haven't stopped playing with it since I put it in my hands.(Yes i know I may go blind but it's worth it..lol) Loving this thing.
 
I finally got my hands on the ReZound last night. Wow the form factor really surprised me. I'm coming from a DroidX and it is very similar to that. Just a little bit thicker. I'm totally fine with the size of this phone.
