Help Do not turn off Taget!!! ???

So, my phone died last night....I plugged it in this morning to charge and then turned on my phone while it was charging.... Instead of the phone booting up, i got the following message:

"Downloading...Do not turn off Target!!!" and above this message is the Droid character with a shovel in a pile of debris all in a yellow triangle like construction sign...

Does anyone know what this is????

Dont hold the volume down button when you plug in your phone.

I'm pretty sure i was not holding down any volume button.... so what should i do now?

Pull battery and reboot.

You accidentally got it in to Download mode (likely by pressing the volume key accidentally while powering it on).

that actually happened to me and didn't try to go into download mode. I would install a new rom and couple mins later it would pop on. It has happened to me a couple times
