Was it ota? Or did you have to do it with your Pc? I haven't seen anything yet about it

is running the computer update but i see the phone little more fast and responsive and the battery duration very well

I updated to B08 via the PC app, then immediately rooted with no problem at all.

I can't even get the handset to work now at all, cuz it says This now, and I don't know what to do now. and my phone wont go into FTM mode anyway anymore.
"Special case: U880 does not require access to FTM mode, and you can connect the phone to pc directly"
Does anyone know what to do to get back into FTM mode instead of CWM

Reflash stock recovery. ZTE Warp Recovery Installer V2.zip use that and choose the stock_recovery.bat file. Then you will be able to use FTM mode again.

Can you update on how the phone is doing since the update I really don't want to lose root but this phone has given me so many problems that I didn't have the last few days that I'm willing to give up root for a stable phone
Running b08c here. Rooted by woodstck77's tutitorial, phone is running fanstatic. I also added the lines of code from the modified build.prop on the warp forum (i did not replace ghe entire build.prop file! I just cut and pasted the lines of code as the new build.prop is way different and i wanna go through and examine it)

would you be up for uploading your build.prop for those of us who are too lazy/noob to try it on our own?, maybe on the original build prop thread?
I am at work now but will upload both when i get home at 6pm central time.

Ok here is the Original and My modified build.prop files, just delete the original.txt and modified.txt from the name of the files and you are good. enjoy.
...guessing you have this solved however if you dont:
I was on CWM and used the online tool @ ZTEusa and it put me to b08c stock FTM was restored. I then installed using snake X's one click deal, then the Superuser.zip from woodstock.
I have over 260+ apps no reboots yet.. seems to be a lot more stable.

What is your secret...I updated and put CWM on and got my root back but had a few restarts...went on a few other threads and found that it may be some of my apps...altogether its about 98 including themes so I installed a few and things went ok yesterday but today at work I received no incoming emails and the phone locked up and I had a time bringing it back...I never had this many issues before I think the update may have brought out unknown issues in my phone or its a app that I just dont know its causing the problems...this has been a sad week, i never thought about giving up on the warp since ive had it but its making me want to now
