Help Do not want bubble text

I did the update on my Epic and now have bubble text. I don't like it. I has to many steps to delete. Can anyone tell me how to go back to the original plain texting?

download "Handcent" from the market. You can get rid of the Bubble style, and customize way more than just that!!

Just make sure after you download it, open up your stock messaging app, and disable notifications (or else you'll get 2 notifications for one text message)...

Downloaded "handcent" and love it. I opened up stick messaging app and disabled the notifications.

How do i get my messaging incon on my home screen (one of the four bottom icons) to default to Handcent and not the stock messaging app?

There are a few threads on this, but...

1) Click on the Applications button on the bottom right of the homescreen.
2) Press menu, select Grid View (if you are already there, ignore this step).
3) Go to the screen with Handcent on it.
4) Menu button, click EDIT
5) Drag off Messaging from the bottom task bar.
6) Drag the Handcent button onto the task bar.
7) Hit the Back button to save changes.
