do otter boxes leave marks on the phone?

LMAO... I agree that cover totally sux, BUT... kinda like the fact that it does cover the port to protect it from foreign materials, liquid, etc. I work in dusty environments and its always in my pocket, so think it is a good idea.

2) Probably. $50 for a case, or $50 in insurance to get a new phone? Up to you.

Hmmmmmm... yeah a $50 investment to keep YOUR phone and not get a refurbished one. lol. It's the first time I got a case before I even turned a phone on. hahaha...

Also, is the plastic screen separator removable? I already got a ZAGG screen protector and don't really need the otterbox plastic screen. =P

I just received my commuter otterbox today and if you already have a screen protector on your phone you don't have to use the one that comes with the commuter.

not sure about the defender but, to me, that adds to much bulk to the device I'm very satisfied with the commuter and have been using otterbox for 6+yrs now and they've never failed in delivering protection.

The plastic is not movable\removable on the defender case. The commuter case would be more suited as it doesn't come with a plastic cover but does have a screen protector you can apply if I'm not mistaken.

I got the Commuter and I love it. Love it! My only two criticisms are the case doesn't fit 100% flush to the phone on the top and the optional plastic screen cover had stickers on it that left residue when removed. It wasn't an issue for me as I already have a Zagg InvisiShield.

I am really happy with my purchase and feel, finally, like my phone is protected. =) Just need my Micro-Fiber Pouch to arrive in the mail now to completely satisfy my paranoia. LOL
