Root do programs tattle on me about rooting

I noticed Juice defenders log says this device is not rooted.
Do provider programs rat me out to my provider when I root, therefore voiding my warranty?

cool so theoretically, if I do brick my phone and my insurance is up to date, I can just drop in the lake for a few days so they can't test it electronically.

Assuming your insurance covers water damage, it should, but that's still technically scamming.

Google doesn't report being rooted to MetroPCS. Google has no way of even knowing if your phone is rooted without physically inspecting it, which they don't do.
