Root Do rooted phones still get OTA updates?

If you're simply rooted and have not deleted certain files that communicate your firmware with the network, you shouldn't have any issues receiving OTA updates. However, you will likely lose root if you accept the update.

Bingo, exactly on the spot. I lost root both times and then just used the OCR method which brought it back both times.
