So I finally got around to installing CM11 M9 on my Verizon M8. Everything seems to be working fine and it even fixed issues with the stock ROM like the notification light and wifi with long passwords. Other than a few FC's it's great.
The one thing I did notice is that the system partition is only showing about ~600MB used (2.17GB free of 2.77GB). I had read a few things saying you should re-partition the device but nothing specifically on the M8. I just did a basic install from the CWM recovery so I don't know if that method prevented it from changing the partitions like I assume it should.
The question is: Should I be concerned about resizing the partitions? Between the remaining space of the 32GB and my 64GB SD space isn't really a concern so I guess I'm just looking for best practices.
