Do you get used to the size?

I went to T-Mobile today and felt the Note 2. MY GOD it's big! Does the size grow on you guys after a while? I don't know if I could live with it after seeing it in person but I really really reallllllllly want it. Do you use a bluetooth headset with it? Does it eventually feel normal? I'm actually considering getting the S3 now after holding the two because I plan on getting the Note 10.1 anyway. Anyhow... let me know what your experience has been. Thanks

I have the Note 1 and coming from an Evo 3D so I went up a whole inch in screen size and I could never go back now. I'm actually somewhat disappointed that the Note 2 is 16:9 instead of 16:10 like the Note 1, so it's thinner now. You'll definitely get used to it, don't worry.

I had the 5" galaxy player so there was nothing for me to get used to. Was already comfortable with that size.

It's definitely big but I rarely use a phone one-handed anyway, so that's no big deal; I will definitely get used to it quick though! :) I absolutely love it!

you should get the s3 you are prolly right its too big for you

yeah ok it is big but I think you will get used to it, depends on what you are using now.
I had the S3 and it is still a leap in size but I am getting very used to the Note2. I would however suggest getting a non slip case as both the S3 and Note2 are very slippery phones. I got both my cases from ebay

You get used to it for sure. Doesn't look that big. With that said, trying to run up the stairs, and the uncomfortableness of doing so is a constant reminder that I have to deal with a minor issue for such a fantastic device.

When I first took it out of the box, I didn't think there would be any way to use it one handed. But I subconsciously worked out a way to browse the net and use Tapatalk one handed. Typing is a two handed endeavor, but I was able to peck out a small note with one hand when my other hand was full (hit the period key and everything). That said two thumb typing is amazing on the GN2. I'm so much faster now, mostly because I make much less mistakes.

I had the S2 before this and I must say I looked at the Note 1 and thought it was big. But after looking at the feature list of the Note 2 and going into the store to see the size of it, I was sold!
I don't regret buying it and I have got used to the size of it now and to be honest I am blown away by it. Yes it might be bigger than other phones but you will make allowances lol.

I got the Note 1 and a rather small hand, hence I can't use it for much with one hand. But that is a problem in like 0,001 % of the time - it means so little compared to alle the positive things this wonderful phone brings with it:-)

But that said, it is up to you alone whether you like the size or not. If possible play with it in a store, try open different apps and see if you can control them the way you want - and +1 for the "dummy" :-)

But if you're getting the 10.1 ask yourself if you need another S-pen on the run or you "just" need a phone for talk and messaging. If you're not using the options the phone gives you, then you might as well take the smaller phone.

I love the size of this phone. I came from using a BlackBerry Bold in an Otterbox Defender Series and was concerned the GN2 would be too much to "one hand".

I was wrong, I one hand it without issues and even use my thumb to swype text in portrait mode. I don't even have big hands like some of those sausage mitts doing GN2 youtube videos.

Good luck!

Adding to my previous post, I've noticed the size is daunting to people who go into this with preconceived thoughts it's going to be too big. From the moment I went from a 3.5" to 4.3" I knew I could never go backwards.

The only moment when I wasn't used to the size was when it came out the box. More to do with that newness factor than anything else.

The Sprint store I was in, the employees hadn't seen the Note 2 yet cause they didn't have it on display. They were amazed!!!! One couldn't keep his concentration on the customer he was activating an old flip phone for; too busy finding his way back over to the other end where me and my note were. :p
