That's actually my point...you can't actually hit it in 2.2 until after you select a word. It's not a matter of the button being too small; it's simply not clickable until you select a word. I see your point about the space bar, but it's still an extra and unnecessary step compared to 2.1.

I can, if i aim just right, hit the send button while word suggestions are still up.....

I really like the independent timeouts (in 2.2) for turning the screen off and having the security lock kick in.
It's nice to have the screen turn off in a minute but not have to enter my code until 15 minutes have passed.

where else do you have word suggestions besides texts?

This guy may have done a factory reset based on your bs.

And that would just be the end of the world? Sorry my BS offended you so:rolleyes:. Guess i made a mistake.
And lets see, gtalk has word suggestions, AND you can hit send while the word suggestions are still up.

BS? I only see an honest mistake.

That's a weird issue though. I hate it when updates make things worse. Well, I can't really complain because of that, my phone never got any update...

I know, i was thinking of gtalk. When i realized whoever brought it up it was right and you couldn't do that in texts it started bugging the sh*t outta me. Not to big of a deal to just hit the space bar, or better yet just end your message with a period and that will also clear the suggestion...

No worries, I am familiar with the factory reset process and everything that it entails. I did not think that anyone was "BS"ing me. :) I've done one before on this phone. I haven't done it again yet because I'm trying to decide if I should try rooting for my first time.

I'm in the same boat as you, trying to decide if i should finally root. Prolly need to factory reset either way but don't wanna mess up my free nfl app

After reading through the forums, the only benefit of rooting that I see is that I would be able to uninstall the junk apps like VZ Navigator, Amazon, etc. Mobile 3G hotspot works fine at no additional cost w/out rooting, so I'm not aware of any other benefits that I would enjoy.

Depends on whether you'd want to try changing your kernel, over/underclock, changing what programs load at boot, messing with the priorities for android's built in taskiller.

If you're willing to muck with your phone there is a huge number of options you can change.

I had an incredible when they first launched, and I loved it till the problems started. I had 2 blow speakers with in 3 weeks of each other, also had random restarts, and mms not downloading. After going through 3 phones I switched to the droid 2. Im kinda missing the incredible and might try and trade the droid 2 for an incredible. How is the phone after the froyo update? Did it take care of the random reboots, or did it just cause more problems.
