I'd have to actually pull it out to try anything to be honest, but pretty sure I remember.
I have this very nice slide rule that I inherited from my father.
Division is absurdly simple,if you understand about the relationship between division and fractions. You just use the C and D scales, arrange it so that you have a numerator on C over a denominator on D, forming a fraction that represents the division that you mean to do. Whatever part of the C scale is over the 1 on the D scale, there's your answer. It's still in the form of a fraction, really.
If, for example, you put 8 on the C scale over 4 on the D scale, then you are creating the fraction 8/4. Looking leftward from there, you'll see other fractions that have the same result
