Do you think we will get Sense 3.6 or 4.0

I just read some news that Sensation and EVO 3D will be getting Sense 3.6, instead of 4.0. Do you guys think that we (Rezound) will get Sense 3.6 instead of 4.0? I know that Sensation and EVO 3D have older CPU but nonetheless, they are dual core phones. What do you guys think?

Judging from the leaked builds from HTC, it will be Android 4.0.3 with Sense 3.6. I've been running Scott's versions for a few weeks now. These aren't ported ROMs, they are based on the HTC leaks, and they are VERY close to production worthy IMO.

The fact that it will get any update in Sense is good. There was a time when HTC didn't update the versions of Sense on their phones. I'm anxious to see what the Droid Incredible 4G will possess.

I'll assume that any official update will have Sense 3.6. HTC has typically reserved their new versions of Sense for new devices and I can't see them straying too far from that pattern even with a big update to the underlying OS. They're in the business of selling products and it makes for good marketing to tempt folks with new goodies on the newest phones rather than undercut their new "One" line of phones by giving people the same software on older and less profitable devices.

Still, it won't be long after the first Sense 4.0 devices are out before it's available to anyone rooted running a custom ROM so I'm not worried. :D

There are actually a couple of 4.0 roms available. Very alpha right now. They boot but that's about it. Nothing else works.

Yea I don't think HTC will release Sense 4.0 to Rezound. They'll need something to attract people One series. Oh well, gotta wait for 4.0 roms to be released :D.

Yea I just saw the review for 3.6 from Engadget. Thanks for the link tacoma. It doesn't look that bad and it's a vast improvement from 3.5.

According to what they say in the article, it should make the phone a little more responsive. That will be a welcome change for me. When I use my wife's Incredible 2, it just feels snappier even though the hardware is no where near the same.

According to Phandroid the HTC One V (A single core processor) is being released with Sense 4.0. What are your thoughts about our beloved Rezound being updated to Sense 4.0. I had my doubts, but , since I saw this news release it gives me hope that maybe they will show us us some love too. Well, Look At That

Seeing that verizon will most likely not get any of the new HTC One phones, i think that it would be smart for HTC to give us sense 4.0 because they should want to keep the appeal of their Verizon customers.... Just my 2 sense about it.

I believe sense 4.0 is only going to be for the phones with the new camera. I think I read that is the only major difference between 4.0 and 3.6.
