docking cradle

I just purchased the docking cradle from Verizon and I like the concept very much. But.... I am having a problem. Every night since I received the cradle, I would put my phone in it when I go to bed. I would awake the next morning to find the time right, but the day and date still have the previous day on the screen. This has happened every night since I started using the cradle.

The phone's contacts are making contact as the phone charges. I checked the date and time in the phone and they are both correct. I have not detected my phone acting weird in any other way. I down loaded a weather widget that had date and time and I thought that may have a conflict, so I uninstalled it. That night I put it on the cradle and when I awoke the next morning, day and date were prior day's date.

Any ideas? Anyone having an issue like this?

I will look in the morning and report back. I normally pull my phone out of the cradle before I put my glasses on and I can't read the screen with them off. Tomorrow I will look before taking it out of the cradle.

Sorry to take so long to report back...

It does not update the date until it is removed from the charger. IDK why, I suppose in the code the date is not refreshed like the clock is.

I don't really see this as an issue for me. Like I said, I normally don't have my glasses on when I pull the phone from the charger so I can't actually read it anyway.
