Help docking station and alarms

Since getting JB, I am having issues with my docking station and with my alarms.

First- the docking station. If I select "Desk Mode," I get "Unfortunately, Desk Dock has stopped." Previously, I used "Bedside," but that is no longer an option. I miss Bedside... When I used that, I could set the brightness. I can't get to the settings of the dock. Is there a way to do that? And how do I download other dock applications? Is that through Motorola or the App Store?

As for my alarms, there used to be a setting to have your music/alarm start quietly and increase in volume, but that appears to be gone. Miss that, too! Is there something I'm missing on that or should I just get an app for alarms?

You need to go to Settings and Apps and uninstall all updates to Google Play Music. Then the dock will work, but still not as well as it used to.

I tried uninstalling all updates and then the Desk view worked for a second ad it said to swipe it to move to bedside mode. Then it crashed like it had before and I could not get it running again.
