documents to...fail?

ok what am I doing wrong? I downloaded docs to go lite AND full version but still doesn't seem to work. when trying to open an Excel file (2003) it gives me some sort of error like "this is not an Excel 97-07 file" etc. What is the prob??

Try rebooting. I use open office and convert to xls so I can't help too much.
