Fletchml

Lurker
Hi please help me. Just got what is suppose to be a superpad flytouch 3.
I am trying desperatly to down load the full version of documents to go off the net / android Market but when I try it says not compatible with your phone!
The link on my pad for android Market only brings up free apps.
Please please some one help getting very fed up with it already.
Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Mine works fine, but as with all paid apps, I had to buy the full version on my Android phone, then copy the apk to the tablet.

Thank you, I didn't know that about paid aps, guess I am going to have to invest in an android phone as well now lol.

Yeah, it's the upside to Android. Your Market log-in licenses you to have a paid app on as many devices as you want, provided that your ID is logged in on each one.

Why?

Go to https://market.android.com/ on your PC, log in using your tablet credentials, buy it there then copy it to your tablet via: scp. ftp, SD Card or whatever means you prefer...

DropBox is a great way to transfer apk files to the Flytouch. The DropBox apk app is available free on Android Market and equivalent apps are available for PC and Mac. When you transfer a file from DropBox to your tablet, it will install automatically. Also, the apk file is retained in DropBox, so if your tablet loses its files for any reason, you have a backup copy on the DropBox server. DropBox gives you 2GB free on its server - that's a lot of apks!

I've heard of drop box but didn't know what it was. Thanks.

It's also superb for your actual office documents (remembering what this thread is!). If you save your PC docs in your Dropbox folder, you can access them on the FT3. Make changes, save and there's the modified document available on your PC!
