Does a hard reset clear all my personal info off phone?

I bought an Eris which I love, but will probably take it back within the 30 days to get an Incredible. Just wondering what's the best way to clear all my info & downloaded apps off the phone so it's back to the way it came in the box?

hard rest. factory data reset its called. the strore will also wipe everything when you return it though so theres really no need to worry.

Do a hard reset. Go to your Setting Menu, and then Privacy, I believe. Do that and it should be good.

But yes, VZW will do it for you, but you don't want to take a chance. You may want to change your GMail password afterwards, as well. Just for safety in case some way is found around a hard reset to get old info.
