Help Does a reset restore the slide lock screen?

I did not have the slide lock screen activated when I upgraded to 2.2, so that option is not available anymore as everyone knows.

If I do a reset, will it reappear? I don't want it to, if I can't turn if off.

Who knows.

I'd root the phone, install Clockwork Recovery and back up your phone, then try a factory reset and see if that helps. If not, you have your backup.

I'd also try sbf'ing with RSD Lite to see if that helps. If not, you have your backup.

Worst case, you should have an OTA update any day. Maybe that will fix it.
