Does anyone but me still love their Epic 4g?

So far I have ver few complaints against my epic and I am a person who started hating the evo for quality control issues.

My only complaints are that I wish notification sounds were louder as I barely ever hear when I get a text message and that I wish the browsing was faster or at least as fast as it was on my Evo but that probably has to do with Sprints network and hopefully will be fixed with the next patch. Outside of that I really don't have any complaints.

I bought both the Evo and the Epic on both of their launch days... and I've been through thick and thin with the Evo, and now sorting out the issues with the Epic. I must say that the Epic's CPU and graphics power simply dwarf the Evo's snapdragon and adreno. It makes the Evo seem sluggish, when it really isn't.

When this phone gets all the bugs worked out along with that much anticipated 2.2 update, it truly will be Epic. In the meantime, stick with it. Going back to the Evo would a step back to more obsolete technology... the Evo's at a point now where its not getting any better -- The Epic has room to grow.

I love my Epic. I will be keeping it for quite a while. Which is weird for me because I change phones every month or so.

I want to thank everyone who has responded. I was starting to feel that perhaps I was crazy and that I may be the only one who loved his Epic and was going to keep the phone. It's encouraging to hear that other Epic owners love their phones. Keep 'em coming!

there must be something wrong with your settings because my notification sounds are off the charts. and, evo is on froyo so it's faster in that aspect, not for long though.

I love my Epic. I switched from a blackberry curve and before was a big BB fan. I recently picked up my BB because I had to help my wife activate it and I absolutely couldn't stand using it. Personally I am on my 3rd Epic and the reason for the first two exchanges was because of the screen wobble. This new one is perfect though. Overall I couldn't be happier owning this phone. I have played with a friends EVO and it just wasn't right for me. I actually like touchwiz. Anyway all in all I'm very happy Epic owner and would recommend the phone to anyone. Oh yea, I've never had a GPS or lag issue either. Again, I love this phone....

I've had it a week and so far, I love it! I've really had no problems except that I dropped it flat on the screen at about 5 ft and scratched the bezel in a few spots (can barely notice). The good news is that the screen is perfect. Anyway, I love my Epic. I think it's like anything else, when you have a problem, you sound off. When everything is fine, well, it's fine. I like that people post their complaints b/c it gives me things to look for and maybe be more careful with. It's all about learning. I take everything in here with a grain of salt, and base my feelings about the phone on my experiences.

I switched from iPhone 3GS to EPIC because my employer was offering a great discount program. I never expected EPIC to be this good. I actually like it a lot better than the iPhone. My only gripe is the batter life, but it is not phone's fault. The phone is packed with features and all the nice apps use a lot of battery. I got a car charger from Amazon ($6) and I also keep the phone connected to my PC at work and battery life is no longer an issue.

I am SO happy that I do not have to deal with iTunes to transfer mp3s or videos to my device. That fact that you can just drag and drop music files to the Micro SD card it is a huge plus. the keyboard is also a HUGE plus and it is actually a very useful keyboard.

I got Ghost Armor shields installed on front and back of the phone which makes the phone look nicer. I highly recommend Ghost Armor shields, the best $35 you can spend on a phone.

I am very pleased with the phone and I highly recommend it!!!

It took 3 phones to finally love it! I'm OKAY with the keyboard, I really never use it, but I LOVE the phone!! Battery blows, but EH! I'll live!

My wife likes hers, now that she got one that has working buttons. She's on #3 but so far, this one seems to be a good one.

Ditto, except we are on Epic number one. I couldn't stand to have the same phone as her so we have the perfect combination of two great phones.
