does anyone else think that there is a second pre applied screen protecter?

Couldn't help myself.

Peeled it off. I only saw one though ?

I used the screen for a minute.

YES, It is faster to respond,And way slicker feeling.

Then I applied the one Otterbox sent me with my Commuter case.

Feels same as after OEM screen protector removed.

So I got both worlds.

WIN

intersecting never noticed this very nice screen protector SE almost cant tell its on and it explains why the second one i bought just didn't stick right.

Me either.

You guys trying to peel off the "second layer" will probably peel off the sensor layer of the screen, LOL
i was thinking this also, i can see there is clearly a layer stuck on my screen.
i'm sure i tried to remove it with my old X10 but it seemed well stuck on.
is this definitely a protector or are there any other layers stuck to the screen that are to do with the 'touch screen'.

i'm tempted to have a go at removing it from my current phone but dont want to risk damaging the screen.

So is it agreed that the phone comes with a screen protector already applied.

One of my biggest gripes with the X10 is the touch screen response. My girlfriends iPhone screen response is far superior to the X10... I would love to improve it...

I dont think it has to do with the touch screen ans their nothing that connects it to all the hardware its most likely a factory screen protector thats installed i mean these phones arent cheap so its the least they could do. lol

I've just peeled my second layer off. It's quite thick and sticky (ooh, pardon) but now it's off and I've given my screen a damp wipe it's so much better. Reacts better and looks so much better.

pics would help, as I would like to see what people are calling the "second layer". I do have a factory protector, and I put on a screen protector myself. It doesnt always respond perfectly but never considered taking off the factory one, let alone a "second layer" LOL
