Help Does anyone have 3G capability on their phone?

Ok, I went to settings, About phone, Status, Additional Status Info and scroll down to


Supported technology.

1xRTT(0,1,15), 1xEVDO(1, 15), LTE92,4)

Rtt and Evdo is CDMA2000 which is 3G. So when the phone says 1x does that mean it's on 3G? I always thought 1x was 1G?

I used to not have any, but the other day I traveled to my aunts house and got 3g. Its not steadily available in all areas. I live in NYC and even in a big area like that 3g isn't everywhere.

1x is not 3G
3G is EV

please can you check the signal bars when you r on EV. do they flicker from 4 bars to nothing every couple of seconds??
i m having this issue since always but i usually dont see EV.. most of the time its on 4g and sometimes on 1x...
i only having that problem on EV

Yes they do I have had 3 connects and all have done this but it still moves OK for speeds when browsing web

Yeah that happens alot. It's really unusable for me. The only time I fond it fine is when updating things like twitter or Facebook. It's way too slow, but atleast its better than nothing.

When this phone is throttled, is it slower than say the 3g phones like the optimus m + or zte?

honestly 1x seems way faster and more reliable than ev i want to keep it on 1x and 4g idk how
