Was looking at these two on ebay

look much nicer than the super ugly seidio one, what were they thinking with that big blob of a white square with the words power on it?

does anyone have either of these? how do they work?
 
I ordered one of these with a spare battery on ebay yesterday. Should have it in a week or so, will post my impressions then. Totally agree about the Seido dock, it is so ugly and has a light on the front, which I do not want.
 
and these are cheap @$20-$25.

I'm thinking about picking one up for my desk @work. You gotta put it somewhere, why not on a charger?
 
Whatever you do, DO NOT get the Seidio Innodock Jr. It's a useless piece of junk. I got one and it's in my drawer now (gonna sell it on eBay when I get a chance). I also ordered the one in the first post. Should have it in a week or so. I had the same one for my MyTouch3G and it worked fine. You just have to realize you have to hook up TWO CABLES to charge the battery AND the phone. There is an AC adapter for the spare battery and a USB adapter for the phone.

RE: Seidio: I simply peeled off the white (actually silver) foil square on mine and used a black magic marker to "hide" the huge Seidio logo .... then I stuffed it in my drawer because it is junk.

Made my own dock out of crayola model magic and a micro usb cable. Not pretty but works great

I've got an ebay dock as well as the $6 charger pkg (home / car + a micro USB cable) on the way. I'll see what works and post it up.

Hot dang - you made one that will work without having to remove the Seidio Innocase Surface II.

I bought this one, just got it today. Fit is too tight for Evo, feels as if I am going to break the USB connector when docking it. Oh, and it is broken, doesn't charge the Evo in the dock and the computer wont recognize the Evo through the dock either.

Edit: should say, I got the top one, with the battery charger too.
 
first or second one?

I have the first one in the mail right now.

If your phone naked or do you have a skin on it?

Why are they dealaying it? is NASA gonna approve the desk charger?...I'm afraid to ask when are they coming out with holster charger....
 
I got my ebay dock / spare battery charger in the mail today.

And the verdict is... It fits fine / charges fine on USB!

The only down side is that the phone doesn't charge when plugged into A/C power. According to the description the A/C power is there for the spare battery charger. This isn't a huge deal for me, but I figured it was worth noting.

Ghost armor full Body protection. It 'still' fits the dock fine.

I was worried after the earlier report of a tight fit.
 
I also got mine from Hong Kong today. From order to delivery was 10 calendar days. Works great, it feels light, but with Evo on it, it's sturdy. You have to use the USB/plug adapter that came with your Evo to charge the Evo, and the included AC adapter to charge the spare battery. It's a secure fit and won't work with any kind of case attached.
 
i just got 2 of mine on ebay and they both arent charging or syncing the phone. only the spare battery is working. what are the odds that i could get 2 defective ones?
they are nice looking though with a gun mettalic shiny chrome look around the sides.
