Does anyone have a PERFECT Triumph?

So... I've been thinking "I'm on my third Triumph, is this just me or is it the phone?"

My first Triumph's Camera would not focus. (Best Buy replaced)

My second Triumph's charging port failed, also had light leakage and the damn green blob.. (Best Buy replaced)

And my current one (third) has the same charging issues as my second one, and on top of that, all three of them have had the "Green blob" in the camera. (Only in fluorescent light, for whatever reason.)

So... I ask, how many Triumphs have you been through, what number you are on, and what issues you have with it?

I am on #1.
The charging can be finnicky (I have to jiggle the cord in the port until it is in there right). My back key doesn't respond every once in a while (maybe once a day with heavy use).
Everything else is golden. The charging issue just started recently (uh oh! :()

Hasn't been 3 weeks since owning one and I'm getting my 3rd later this week.

I can't believe alot of phone are like this. I think the MT is just a horrid mess but I'm gonna stick to it till the newest thing arrives I guess. I want MiUI but can't because I keep getting bad phones.

1st. Camera won't focus green blob. Running miui but a replacement phone is coming in tomorrow but if the camera on that one is messed up too ill send it back and keep my original one

I'm on my first. Bought it the day the Triumph was released and never had a single problem with it. It sucks that so many people do, though, because mine is awesome. I haven't even rooted it; I haven't had the need. And I know there are a couple of others out there that have worked well from day one. I'm glad I'm one of the lucky ones.

Got mine Friday after the Cyber MOnday sale. Other than 3g SUCKS on the stock ROM, I haven't had any problems. I have loaded MIUI and other than a couple of little gremlins I haven't had any problems. I am really surprised by the picture quality indoors using the flash. I haven't tried video yet. I just tried GPS last night just using a GPS tool app to check it and I got 9 sats locked in about a minute...which is cool, because now the weather app in Fancy widgets gets my location accurately quicker now! I notice that every now and then the screen and or buttons don't respond, but I try to go easy on them and sometime it just takes a little bit stronger touch. I am really disappointed tho in Motorola's quality. I came from a HTC Hero and NEVER had one minute's problem out of it...other than the lack of processor or space, but I got an extra GOOD year out of it by rooting!

I think there are a lot more people that don't have issues, they just don't post on message boards. If there is something wrong, one of the first things many people will do is check online and ask for help or complain. Those that just buy it and use it and are happy usually don't post about it!

I would surely hope so. Although, there are quite the number of people who have been getting bad ones. (I'm on my 3rd. I replaced my Intercept ONCE!)

Hopefully all the crappy inventory will be used up or retired from all the returns and later batches from the manufacturer are better. Seriously how hard is it to test these things out before packaging them, it'd save them a lot of money in the long run.

I dont think that anyone has a "perfect" phone... I'm on my first one and have had for a few months now. I don't have any major problems, just slow gps lock and my back button doesnt always respond, but nothing like everyone else has... And I guess my phone is one of the "oddball" phones.

I second this.Other than having the buttons become non responsive(specially the back button) I haven't faced any other issue yet.For GPs which tool you have tried by the way.Care to share the same please?

I got mine on cyber Monday and haven't had any issues. I installed CM7 the next day and its been amazing. I see alot of posts of bad phones and I was actually worried when I got mine. But so far so good. Best phone I ever had. I came from the Intercept and OMG the Intercept sux compared to the Triumph. Its freakin badass honestly. Also my battery last forever and takes hardly no time to charge. I'm extremely happy with it. Definately worth $150 and even if i would have had to pay $300 it would have still been worth it.

I've had mine a little over a month and no problems so far. I rooted it, but see no reason to change ROM at this point.
I continue to study how to do so and learn how to do the various backups required.
When I get bored with it, I may change things around, but no need at present.

Had my Triumph for about three weeks and no problems so far. Rooted and switched to cm7 the first day. Very pleased with this phone. "Knock on wood."

Exactly.

In terms of build quality, mine is pretty good, other than light leak and green blob camera. All the other problems are software related and resolved in CM7 or have workarounds. It is a very nice phone after some tweaking.

I got mine 2 weeks ago. GPS takes 10-20min to lock on and sometimes looses the lock. I could have sworn I've tried everything. Finally when it pissed me off enough after being lost in support land they are sending me a new one today hopefully with none of the issues people seem to be having. If this one doesn't work, I guess its back to the OV for me even with its ability to only install about two apps (at least the gps is amazing there).

So far the issues I've been reading about:
-Light leak
-No GPS lock
-Charging issues
-Touch screen issues
-Camera focus issues

Crosses fingers.

Oh, and my second one had the light leakage. :/

The charging thing seems to be a new development in our what-seems-to-be-never-ending woes... :(
