Apps Does anyone help on this site?

I have viewed a lot of questions here in this site and it seems like no one answers or helps with the questions for developing an app!!! Is there even people on this site?

To be truthful and nothing against this site as I find both the members and site in general to be excellent value for information to many but when it comes to 'Development' Android Forum is not at the forefront of discussion.

For 'Development' type of questions you would get much richer and diverse replies by using a forum such as XDA-Devs.


I am a member of both sites where I find for technical issues regarding your enquiry I choose to use XDA but for 'General Issue' or discussion related Android Forum I find are much friendlier.


Further, XDA-Devs has a larger membership of developers. Many well known name coders can be found operating in XDA-Devs.

I do strive to help as many folks as I can, but when it comes to development, I'm not really all that helpful.

Now troubleshooting issues with a phone or a root method, I'm all over it. Issues writing XML code or Java Script, I'm actually completely clueless.

And stackoverflow is an excellent resource. The number of devs on those sites give them the advantage.

I try to chime in where I can but don't have experience using all of the features in Android.
