Does anyone underclock their cpu to conserve battery life? How would you go about doing that and what are safe levels? Would it work with custom ROM like Velocity 1.0? Thanks!

I used to until i bought an extended battery. I dont think underclocking is available on the velocity script but dont quote me on it... i used to have setcpu and that worked fine with the profile option. Im sure theres a way using the terminal so look around for that before you spend your money

I just installed setcpu (a "donate" version) and it seems to work. I just set it to stay between 125mhz and 225mhz when the screen is off. Hopefully this gives me a few more hours of battery life.

when you set the v script, for smart ass it clocks to 320 when screen is off, interaceive is 480.
