Does Battery calibration app question

Does this app just delete the battery stats file? I was just wondering.

Yup. Thats exactly what it does mate. Same as you can do in custom recovery :thumbup:

A Google dev debunked it as being pointless though, it won't have any positive impact on battery life.

Yeah its just a habit ive got into from the early days, wiping stats when i flash a new rom. What about if u use a new battery mate?

Well was just wondering. I have a ZeroLemon 7500 mAh battery for my Galaxy s4 and due to the battery's size I will actually see my battery percent go up because android does not always read the battery correctly. If all this does is wipe the battey stats then its no use .

From the G+ post linked to in the article, I don't think it makes a difference either. All the file does is contain info about what's been using the battery since it was last charged.
