Root does cyanogenmod 5.0.8 work?

Does this rom work on the DInc? I saw it in ROM Manager and I was wondering if this would work instead of Koush's Cyanogenmod because no matter how hard I try I cant get the Android Market to download..So if this doesnt work can someone tell me how to get the Android Market?

im still on 2.1...i havent installed the OTA yet...but when i download/install the google apps the package doesnt include the Android Market

Thats odd, it certainly should. Have you checked the zip to see if vending.apk is included?

Vending.apk is in there but it isnt downloading the market

I would try it and see. Maybe vending has bad permissions.

Try downloading another Google apps zip. Incredibleroms.com might have one in their CM section (though I don't recommended that site for the actual rom). If you're installing from recovery, manually, it should work.
