this is annoying isn't it!!!! one would think double tap to view full size image was standard on every browser. this tap and hold to view image is very annoying on the X. is there a better browser out there to fix this and make browsing throw ish faster???

You can however scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and change the setting for "View Google in:" from Mobile to Classic which will allow you to view the image.

In mobile view you can long press, then view image, then pinch to zoom. Hope they fix this, 3 steps to get to an image don't cut it.

Or just switch to classic view.

I wish there was a setting you could use to check to not use mobile sites, like there is on the Incredible, maybe that is an HTC thing. Yeah like someone else said either long press on the picture or classic view to fix issue.

Or do what I am going to do use Dolphin Browser HD, I have held off long enough.

It appears the. 604 update has resolved the issue with google images search results where you click on an image in the results and then nothing happened.
After. 604 installed, I went back to google images and presto!
I can now browse search results just like I'm swiping through my picture gallery.

Google image thumbnails works for me, however I am highly disjointedness in the picture quality when compared to other phones. Even high resolution pictures tend to look low quality in the browser.
