does GPS work well indoors for you?

for me, i have to get close to a window.

also, is it true that if you are on a wifi connection to use google maps it will check your IP address and return your location to assist the GPS to find a lock faster?

I get a GPS very easily using GPS and internet connection, as like you said, using internet helps to find your location alot quicker
