does it come with Mobile ID?

I currently have a Kyocera Rise with Virgin Mobile. I need to upgrade and I'm looking at this LG Volt. I would stick with Virgin Mobile.

I have to ask if if it also comes with the extremely annoying app called Mobile ID that tries to install itself every time I turn my phone on. I don't even know what it is, but I know I don't want it. Please tell me I won't have to deal with this if I choose the LG Volt.

Just be sure to let it install itself before you start customizing your home screens and so forth. It will install and apply itself - but maybe not immediately - and make changes to anything you might have done already. Afterward, as long as you leave it alone, it won't do anything else (just don't decide to uninstall the updates to it to make space. It will reapply itself and mess up your phone all over again.).

Yes, I have it on my Volt with Boost Mobile. It IS very annoying, but I was able to turn it off, disable it, or something that caused it to just sit there in the app folder without actually doing anything.

I used to have the Rise and the mobile ID was a constant pain, never could get it to completely go away. It seems to behave the way it's supposed to on the newer phones however so, as mentioned above it hasn't been a problem with the Volt (other than being a waste of space). I think it is finally gone from the the even newer phones like the S5 and the desire 510 and 816.

mobile id is still on the s5. i remember it being highly highly annoying on the volt, it like to quite often completely reset my home screens whenever it liked and download multiple useless apps. luckily on this phone there is a easy fix: reinstall the stock rom after activation. you'll still have to same phone and os it has currently, WITHOUT carrier bloat like * zone, and mobile id.
