Does keeping the following on use more battery?
1.) NFC?
2. S Beam?
3.) Nearby devices?
4.) Screen Mirroring?
5.) Air gesture?
6.) Air view?
7.) Air command?
8.) Motions?

thanks!

NFC & S beam and Screen mirroring keep off unless your going to use them if not make sure you have them off and the other ones are good to keep on.

But, there a number of other features and settings that if turned on Can affect battery life. Not to forget apps :)

Play around and see what works for your life style.....:o

Lateck,

I have virtually everything turned on and battery life is great compared to my Galaxy Nexus. I have no complaints.

Agreed. As a matter of fact this is the first android phone where I not had to shut down features just to have desirable battery life with my type of usage. Which has been heavy since it's so new :). Loving this phone.

I too have all features activated, battery life is excellent. I do believe Android versions 4.2.2 & 4.3 have been well engineered to extend & manage battery life very well. I can go for twelve hours easy with frequent heavy usage no problem.

At that juncture my work day is done, my Note 3 usually reads around 35% remaining & I plug it in for a recharge. USB 3.0 with the included charger renews to full charge in less than 2 hrs. I'm very satisfied.
