I am facing some problem with locking. I put my Desire S on my jean's front pocket and each time I take it out of the pocket I see that It's not automatically locked. May be its happenning because I put the display side down touching my leg ;-) as it fits more rather than putting the display up. I think there is no problem in auto lock because it make no problem when I normally put it on my desk. Now I don't want to depend on autolock and want to lock manually each time I put the phone in the pocket. But I'm concered about the locking button as it's used too often.
Now the question, there are many apps in Google Play for aiding locking/unlocking e.g. Tap Tap App, Intelegent Keylock Unlocker. These apps use light sensor as far I know, moreover when I activate these apps I see that the light sensor is blinking. So do they harm light sensong by over using?
