Help Does night mode help saving battery ?

I know that night mode is there to avoid eyes fatigue while reading in the dark, but I wonder if this feature can help in extending battery life ?

If it's making the screen less bright, then yes, it definitely will have a positive impact on your battery.

How much depends on how long the screen is on, of course.

If it changes black on white to white on black that will save a lot of power if you have an AMOLED screen, but nothing if you have an LCD unless you also reduce screen backlight brightness (as Scary says).
