Does "note" have NFC

I'm getting a bluetooth earpiece and one of the ways to pair it uses NFC.
Ive googled " does the note have NFC and have gotten mixed answers. Does anyone know for sure.. The back cover on my note has those 2 little pieces of metal on it which I think "might" have something to do with allowing or dis-allowing NFC. Does anyone know "for sure"??

Do you have the international version or AT&T? The former has NFC capability while the latter does not.

You re correct in saying that there is a difference between the two phones, but it is the international Note which lacks NFC. That said, I believe that the NFC on the AT&T Note is disabled in software. Perhaps thos changed with ICS, but I don
