Help Does Optimus S have 512MB or 256MB of RAM?

Some websites report that the Optimus S has 256MB of RAM and some sites report that it has 512MB of RAM. Can anyone confirm, for certain, whether it has 256MB or 512MB of RAM?

Is there any way that I can check it myself (like how Windows PCs report the amount of RAM installed)?

How much RAM does Android 2.2 use up (without apps)?

It has 512. There are hardware specs all over, but here's a good summary.
