Help Does power saving mode slows phone

I have noticed my phone lags
When ps is turned on wonder why?

It caps the CPU to run slower.

Should only affect the phone though if doing very CPU intensive stuff. Only about 10% of the games out there should see any reduction.

Disagree. My CPU ramps up to 1400mhz often with the screen on. If a certain amount of cycles are required to complete a task, the same task at 1400mhz will take longer to execute at 1000mhz, so it would be slower.

10 percent of my day, my CPU was at 1400mhz. Texts, emails, forums, browsing

I notice lag in games as well normal phone usage
When its on.

Does it save battery?

It should save some battery by capping the CPU clock speed...but you will also take a performance hit...

I can pull 5 hours of screen time without it on...so I see no reason to turn it on
