So I was able to gain root using my old 1 gb SD card. But I want to use my main 2 gb card (which I cant get root on even though I tried).
Can I just switch cards now that i'm rooted and gave SU permissions?
The reason I ask is that after switching cards, I opened up Wireless tether and turned it on. My laptop saw the network but wouldnt connect (even though it had earlier using the original root SD card).
So do I only have root with the original SD card?
Or is it that I need the folder for wireless tether that was on the old SD card. If so, how can I get the folder to the new card.
thanks!
EDIT: I was able to figure out the answer... Root DOES remain. I just needed the folder 'android.tether' on my new SD card and wala, I'm back on wireless tether using the new SD card. This was posted using it hehe
Also, the folder was found in the tools folder of the Simple Incredible Root from the youtube video about it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVHj6J2uCKo&feature=player_embedded
