Lurker
I'm puzzled which one of them to buy and I read a lot of articles @@
so the criterion now ;Does Note 10.1 have a reading mode after jelly bean upgrading ?
Thanks in advance.:confused::)

:D I hope I can wait but I can't , I need it because I'm studying Oracle right now and have to read a lot of pdfs.
So does Note N8000 have the reading mood option ? :\

I'm puzzled, Note 8.0 have reading mood feature and I wanna buy Note N8000 10.1 but I need this feature so Does it exist after the latest upgrade?
Thanks in advance .

I do not think N8000 has reading mode. Does it make it not good for reading? NO WAY! I hav read multiple books on mine using Moon Reader+ and enjoyed it a lot.

Readng mode is only available in some apps, not all of them, so as long as you use non-3rd party apps for reading you are fine, but the 3rd party ones are the best.

so What do you suggest buy Note N8000 10.1 with 3rd party app or Note 8.0 which have reading mode feature ?
I need a clarify u mean if I am using adobe pdf I cant activate reading mood in Note 8.0
:)
and thanks v.much

I do not know if PDF can be used with reading mode.

I looked at 8.0 and did not like the form factor at all. It is like a huge phone and not a tablet. Stayed with my 10.1 - fast, smooth, extremely functional (recently I used the USB connection kit to connect a 128GB USB 3.0 stick with movies on it).

Thanks Mr.Szadzik for your feedback :) some told me it's easier and cool to read from Note 8.0 , but I guess for larger screen it will be cool to read in a convenient way
if you have more info and experience tell me :)) :P
Thanks :)

I have had this device for over a year and am loving it. It is the best Android device I have had to date - 3.5 years with Android here. My Glaxy S4 is not as smooth and stable as Note 10.1. I use mine to watch movies, play games, read books, browse the internet and occasionally write a longer email/ document. I only use a flip case with a nice flip-over bottom cover that provides great protection and portability.

Reading Mode on the Note 8 is essentially a screen filter which adjusts contrast of the screen so it won't be too bright to the eyes, as well as making the white background more paper like. This can be done in many reading apps like Mantano and Moonreader pro by adjusting reading brightness and changing the background to something softer, like sepia or paper brown. The good thing about reading mode compared to using other apps is that it's a single setup to be used in several apps, as opposed to setting it up for each individual app.

Good point, but only if you plan to use several different apps for reading. For me MoonReader is the only app I use since I installed it.

Oky guys I have the last question to determine which one I will buy..I will read a lot of pdfs like 1000 pages and reading moon app won't work on pdf right, because its a reader ? so Does reading feature work on pdf after I set up adobe to it in Note 8.0 ?
Thanks in advance. :)

Moon Reader Pro surely reads PDF files. If it does not, I am sure you will find a hundred other apps that will and will provide good reading experience. Do not base your choice on the reading mode feature as that is just a software setting and nothing else.

Not sure about MoonReader, since I use ezPDF. I read PDF files of around 2000 pages (medicine textbooks) on it and it works fine. However, Note 8's reading mode only work on selected apps. Since I don't have an 8 with me, I can't check which apps it works on. You'd be better off not caring about the reading mode since a lot of apps on the market can mimic it anyway.

:) hmm thanks guys for help so I'll choose bigger screen ^^ I just asked about this feature because they are the same in hardware :)
thanks so much for help :) <3 I adore this forum XD
