Does Skype video work on Tbolt?

[jackdubl]

I just downloaded the app from the market but the video didn't work. I could hear fine but just got a black screen for the video. Is there a working apk for tbolt? Does any other app allow video calling or is the front camera completely useless?

I have quite an old apk that might work for you: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4356626/com.skypevideo.apk

Hmm, the apk fails to install.

Hrmm, yeah I wasn't hopeful that it would work. Ill test out my skype tomorrow and see if it's working.

Skype works fine on the thunderbolt. No issues. Been working for a few months since they officially supported it..

Try ooVoo or tango and see if video works. Also make sure your camera works properly

I'll work on it then. Thanks, just wanted to make sure it did work before I started trying everything. I hope it isn't a rom/kernel related issue.

I was able to use it on a Stock bolt just fine, but as for rooted, unsure. Worth a shot though

I've tried the Skype app from market. It works. Running Liquid Smooth v3.2

Thanks guys. Turned out to be rom related. Switched roms, works now.
