Root Does Stock Kernel Underclock When Idle?

Does anyone know if the stock kernel on the DInc underclocks the cpu when it has little or no lo load?

Underclock? Well it sits idle at something low like ~250mhz or something. If there is a high load, the CPU will be used more, if there is little to no load, I'm positive that it idles at a low mhz.

yea it goes down while not in use... you can use system panel to show this

I downloaded a cpu utility, it idles at 245MHz.
