Does stock OPO have a music player?

Think Google Music is the stock player... or was when i was back on stock
Yeah that's all I could find (and I have it disabled)
I use PowerAmp anyway but someone in a thread was talking about Apollo music player by CM so I went looking to see what I had and there was nothing. Strange.
Cheers mate :thumbsupdroid:

Tbh I've never used Google music. I bought PowerAmp a long time ago (first app i ever payed for) and I'm happy with that :thumbsupdroid:

May enable it some day and give it a shot (being a Google fanboy lol).
Does it have EQ?
On some,if not most devices,it does, but, you can use any equalizer you wish & the GPS Music app will use it.

Edit:
Now I'm not seeing it on any of my devices.
Before,my M9 didn't have it,suspect BOOMSOUND has something to do w/that,not sure.
Definitely don't know when the EQ began vanishing from the GPS Music app.

Open the Play Music app. Hit the settings button in the top left. Hit the Settings button. 5th option is Equalizer. Gives you the options to adjust the equalizer for headset, speaker, USB, Bluetooth and Wireless.

Cool cheers mate. So for anyone who's tried PowerAmp, what would you say are the advantages of Google play music (other than cloud storage I assume it has? ...... Which is actually something for me to think about, being on the 16gb version) :thumbsupdroid:

Apollo is available on Play Store. I've been using a simple material design app called Orpheus. It doesn't have EQ but I use Viper as it blows away everything else for audio processing. MaxAudio is uninstalled

I have one issue. I got my Media Storage corrupted and couldn't copy files to my device via MTP so I cleared it data and then used a program to rescan the sdcard. This was fine except it didn't have my ringtones (from /system) anymore. Easy fix I thought. I copied the media folder deleted it then copied it back. Done. Ringtones and Alarms back on the list... and my media player plays them as audio files in shuffle play. Doh! Anyone know how to fix this? Reflashing wont

Put a .nomedia in your ringtones directory, then the media scanner and music players will ignore them.

Two problems

First, the Media Storage process has already read the files, so its too late to add .nomedia. Two, if I erase the media storage data again (and this time include a .nomedia file) to stop the media player from reading them, then I lose the ability to select these as ringtones with the Media Storage API.

Somehow these are marked as Ringtones and not music. Does your /system/media/audio/ringtones have a .nomedia file? Adding such a file seems to have no effect.
