Does the GNex support Bluetooth High Speed?

My guess is it does not, after trying to send a file between two GSM GNex's both running 4.2.1 by using Android Beam. It appeared to go over bluetooth, and was quite slow.

I couldn't find anything definitive about the BT capabilities, except the list of profiles it supports:

To my knowledge BT 3.0 is the best. if im wrong someone please correct me. im not 100% sure on this!

Also Android Beam uses NFC doesnt it?

Bluetooth 4.0 is the newest revision, and should consume less power than previous versions of BT. I'm not sure about the performance but I'd imagine that it provides the same or greater performance than previous renditions of BT.
