Does the HTC Inc 4g need a screen protector?

I have heard the new screens are more durable.

Do we need screen protectors for our fancy new HTC inc 4g on the 5th?

It includes Gorilla Glass by Corning so no screen protector should be needed!

SHOULD being the key word... But my theory is it never hurts. You don't need a case either, but many still put them on. Read some of the HTC One X\XL forum. They area actually trying to get a petition together because of the screen scratching.

I didn't use a screen protector on my Eris and don't have one on my Incredible 2. I do landscaping in the high desert so my phones get really dirty. No scratches yet.

I didn't use one on my original incredible and don't plan to now. I do plan on getting some kind of thin case as I dropped my original inc a lot and it just looks terrible now (especially on the corners).

I'm a big believer in screen protectors. My wife's 4s has a scratch just from the one week it was freed from it's hefty Otterbox Defender case which had one built into the case.

I think the short answer is no. The long answer is no, you don't need one.

I put whole body skin on my One X and I don't like it. Thinking about taking it off.
