So I was out yesterday going to all the major corporate carrier stores helping my friend decide on which phone to get. So far the LG G-Slate was the coolest tab but no phone impressed me beyond the beast we call the Charge. That was until I came across AT&T's Infuse. Its screen is amazing...so amazing that I had to configure its display settings to match mine and download my current wallpaper because I had to know that it was equal and not better than the Charge.
The only thing I didn't do was load Launcher Pro because my friend was ready to kill me over the amount of time we were staying there. The Infuse was still brighter, more vibrant and sharper than mine :'(
What I noticed was that images on the Infuse had sharper edges even though we both share the same resolution. That could be that its using less dithering during the scale-up.
Would LPro be the reason why my phone was less sharp?
Even with all the auto brightness and power saving settings equal, could it be that it was still over hyped because it's a display model?
The one thing that I forgot to do was pull the power on the Infuse. Could that also be a factor or should I just rest on the fact that in every way but the screen the Charge is superior?
