Does the M still have reception issues?

I really want to upgrade my MAXX (well not really an "upgrade") to this phone but dread the much documented reception issues this phone had or maybe is still having. Does anyone know if this was found to be a hardware or software issue? Have there been any updates to resolve the poor reception? Did the problem get any better or worse with the recent JB update?

No idea what you are refering to. My wife's M has no reception issues at all. Quite the contrary.

The signal/reception issue is pretty well known.
