Help Does this count against my data usage?

I just have a 200mb plan since I don't use it much and can still use wifi...Here's an example of my question

I open google and see a news story I want to read. I click on that and the entire article is on a single page. Once that page has fully loaded, does it continue to use data or is it only while loading the page? Would seem weird that if a page loads I then have to hurry up and read it fast like I'm on a clock or something. I would just assume that it only uses data while loading and once it's up I can leave it up for however long I want without it going against my usage but I could be completely wrong.

I appreciate the help!

Every web page is different. If it's just text, its's just only til the page load. But if the page has banners, flash video, pictures, and things constantly changing then, it's still using data. So, what some people do is, disable JavaScript and Flash plug ins, to get to the information faster without everything else loading up.
