Help does this work on the warp

i just found this and was wondering if it worked on our phone

before i found this i tryied making my own cable but my mouse didnt have any power so im not sure if power runs threw the port

i even tryied using another cable split into to
one for power from a usb charger/pc port and one for data still no go


also is there a bluetooth keyboard case that will fit the warp the only ones i can find are for iphone and im not sure the size difference

id love to be able to play games that normaly use no touch controls on my warp

Im not sure if it works or not, something like that would have to be enabled within the kernel rather then android itself, so we would need a custom kernel with support for it to work. I do happen to know that SDIO cards are supported by the kernel. If you want to know what SDIO is see here

The form factor and location of the sdcard may keep this from being used however

Im guessing ur talking about wifi or bluetooth sd cards in thereoy it shiuld work i once had a superpaf\flytouch that i used a hardwired usb mouse and keyboard android as the driver for it in every os version the problem i have is if the micro port is piwered ornot or maybe when i built the cable a pies was bad

Last time I checked, USB connections were one-way connections. Using this cable for anything except a capable device may be unhealthy for it. Given the Warp's, erm, special-ness, I would say that is the case here.

We're talking about B/B connections here, but the same principle applies. Bad idea, even if nothing explodes.

i dont think what you are saying is true if im reading it correctly


usb cables are bi directional when it comes to anything but pc to pc which dosent work because a pc wont read another computer as mass storage because they both think they are host inless theres a converter

data travels both directions in a usb cable thats how u can transfer files

a to a cables do work i had to build one to root a tablet i was had which had a full sized port

my problem with the warp is i dont know if its port is powered if not then a mouse or keyboard wont work.

i tryied building the female to micro cable before but inless my cable was bad then there was no power so i tryed building a caple with 2 plugs for external power like an external hdd

i may get this cable just to try it. if itdosent work then its not a loss i can always attach it to my male male a cable for a longer charger for my warp wall adapter

I think your definately going to run into voltage issues...Since your giving this a shot, pick up a few resisters like 28-38k ohm resistors to mess with/a small powered usb hub/...idk im brainstorming here but i have some ideas..
