Does turning your phone off close apps?

[andyacecandy]

Just wondering if turning off your phone, closes all of your running apps....

[Visionikz03]

yes it clears ALL running apps, but the ones that are programmed to start on bootup will automatically startup after reboot anyhow.

How do you choose what apps open on startup?

What process(es) do you need to execute on boot so badly you can't tap once, once the phone is up?

I'm no Linux expert, but I'm sure you can get into the OS and do this...might need to root it, if you have the guts. I don't! Try here, for starters...

Maybe others with better background can help.

No, on a real operating system you would do an rc-update add/delete <program> <runlevel>
