Root Does unrEVOked3 wipe your phone?

Just wondering if anyone can help me. I want to root using unrEVOked3, but I don't want to lose anything. Does unrEVOked3 wipe any data or settings from the phone?

It does not wipe your phone. I just did it Sunday.

I'm a newb and unrEVOked 3 was easy and my phone works great. It didn't wipe anything.
